Reason for Boycott
100% of the company's shares belong to the Vitol Group, one of the world's largest private energy traders based in Switzerland. The primary factor putting the brand on your red list is the organic military supply tie between the parent company, Vitol, and the occupation state of Israel. According to the latest September 2026 reports by international energy monitors, throughout the genocide in Gaza, Vitol has been one of the largest global suppliers shipping millions of barrels of crude oil to Israel's state-owned Europe Asia Pipeline Company (EAPC). More critically, Vitol supplies not only crude oil but also jet fuel (aviation fuel) directly used by the occupying army's (IDF) fighter jets. These shipments, which are transferred to the military via refineries in Israel, reach the occupation ports directly on tankers chartered by Vitol. In the final months of 2024, Petrol Ofisi Group officially acquired all Turkish operations and over 700 stations of BP, a staple of the global exploitation network. A consumer boycotting BP and buying fuel from Petrol Ofisi changes nothing financially; at the end of the day, profits from both stations flow into the treasury of Swiss-based Vitol, which transports fuel to Israeli jets. Being a 100% subsidiary of capital that is the de facto logistical and fuel supporter of the occupying army, Petrol Ofisi is among the companies strictly to be avoided (Red) in your database.
