Reason for Boycott
Inditex (the parent company of the Zara group), which owns Lefties, is among the largest corporate investments of massive venture funds like BlackRock and The Vanguard Group, which design global exploitation networks. Israeli Franchise Network: Inditex conducts its operations in the Israeli market through the local franchise holder "Trimera/Gottex Brands." The head of this network, Joey Schwebel, is the biggest financial and political supporter of National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, known for his most racist and ethnic cleansing rhetoric against Palestinians. Every product a consumer buys from Lefties expands the commercial volume of these Israeli franchise barons who finance these radical far-right figures. East Turkestan (Xinjiang) Complicity: The supply chain of the brand, known for its cheap production costs (fast fashion), extends to slave labor camps in East Turkestan. Inditex is listed in the Australian Strategic Policy Institute's (ASPI) "Uyghurs for Sale" report among companies directly benefiting from the forced labor of Uyghur Turks. Furthermore, in 2021, French prosecutors launched an official investigation against Inditex on the grounds of "concealing crimes against humanity in Xinjiang and profiting from slave labor." Public Morality and LGBTQ+ Disinformation: Targeting young consumers (Gen Z), Lefties acts as a vehicle for global moral decay beyond commercial sales. The brand normalizes LGBTQ+ ideology in its storefronts by releasing special "Pride" collections every year and promoting gender-fluid clothing lines. This commercial/ideological imposition, carried out under the guise of "diversity and inclusion," is a disinformation campaign directly targeting traditional family structures and public morality.
