Reason for Boycott
Golda is a Türkiye-based food brand produced by Golda Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. The company manufactures pasta, flour, semolina, pulses, biscuits and wafers at its integrated facilities in Kazımkarabekir, Karaman. Golda operates under the Bera Holding structure, exports to more than 60 countries across six continents, and began trading on Borsa Istanbul under the ticker GOLDA in July 2026 with a 35% public float. Although Golda is a Türkiye-based manufacturer, this does not mean that it has no commercial relationship with Israel. A promotional export visual published on Golda’s own official website explicitly lists Israel among the company’s export destinations, alongside Belgium, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Bulgaria. This is materially different from unauthorized parallel imports or isolated third-party resale, because the company itself presents Israel as part of its export network. No verified evidence was identified showing that Golda directly supplies the Israeli military, holds a contract with the Israeli Ministry of Defense, operates in illegal settlements, or maintains its own Israeli subsidiary. Nevertheless, the company’s official acknowledgment of Israel as an export market establishes a deliberate commercial relationship and contributes to economic normalization in the context of occupation and apartheid. Golda should therefore be classified as “Strict Boycott”.
