Reason for Boycott
Fossil Group (Nasdaq: FOSL) is the invisible monopoly of the global watch market, not limited to products bearing its own name. While consumers believe they are buying an innocent sports or fashion brand, watch and smartwatch collections of world-renowned giants—most notably Skechers, as well as Michael Kors, Diesel, Emporio Armani, Puma, DKNY, and Kate Spade—are manufactured directly in Fossil factories, with revenues pooling into this company's treasury. Examining the corporate ownership of this massive pool reveals that global venture funds structurally financing occupation networks, such as BlackRock and The Vanguard Group, are among Fossil Group's largest shareholders. The amount a consumer pays for a Skechers or Diesel watch ultimately flows into the dividend coffers of these funds. The retail operations of the brand and all its licensed sub-brands (Skechers, Armani, etc.) in Israel are conducted under the distributorship of "Planet Group (Roltime)", the country's largest importer, generating commercial taxes in the occupation state's massive shopping malls. On the dimension of public morality, the company provides regular financing to LGBTQ+ organizations like The Trevor Project through special collections. Gender-neutralizing policies targeting the traditional family structure are directly supported by these global donations transferred from Fossil's sales revenues.
