Reason for Boycott
The ownership structure linking Avon to LG H&H (and its Israeli cyber investments/Coca-Cola ties) has completely collapsed. Facing massive talc/asbestos lawsuits, Avon filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in August 2024. Subsequently, Natura &Co sold Avon International to the US-based private equity firm Regent LP in January 2026. Crucially, just yesterday (August 24, 2026), LG H&H agreed to sell its remaining stake (Avon North America) to Regent LP at a massive loss. As of August 2026, Avon is entirely owned by Regent LP. While this private equity firm has no documented direct military or Zionist investments, its closed capital structure obscures the identities of its ultimate financial backers. Due to its status as a US private equity asset and its history of severe consumer safety violations (asbestos lawsuits), Avon is no longer a documented "Strict Boycott" but falls into the Gray Area, left to consumer discretion.
